Project: Wardley Primary School - Rewire

Brief Description of Works: Replacement of the existing distribution equipment & submains, full rewire of lighting & power, install new addressable fire alarm system, pick up & re commission existing door access system, install new security alarm system, existing & new lighting luminaires installed, new emergency lighting.

Project managed by our qualified engineers, responsible for the management of project & deliver the contract in line with client requirements & keep the client informed of progress, also to inform his/her supervisors & staff of client requirements, specifications and Health & safety requirements are being met. Coordinate works program & subcontractors in line with program, regular monitor, audit & review of program & health & safety.

Adaptability – Containment routes re designed & additional installed due to surface install required to navigate around structural barriers to distribute sub circuits. The program was adjusted to suit the works and on completion we appointed a painting contractor to carry out patching & re decoration where required. The project was fully tested and commissioned on completion of works.

Installation carried out by our directly employed JIB qualified electricians & Site Supervisor in accordance with BS7671 IEE Wiring Regulations.

Installation certified by our test engineer in accordance with IEE wiring regulations & presented on a NICEIC certificate. Also the supervision of the commissioning of both the fire alarms and emergency lighting systems by the manufacturers.

Works completed on time to clients’ satisfaction & within budget.

Project : Barbour Internet Sales Distribution Centre

Brief Description of Works: Working with the client to design and install lighting, data and power installations to meet the requirements of the distribution Centre, installed flexible power & data system to factory floor to allow future department moves, refurbished office areas, installed door access, intercom & Sound system, during this work we also upgraded the fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Works completed within budget.

Project: Burrberry European Distribution Centre

Brief Description of Works: Install new lighting to warehouse, new containment & flexible system to allow future aisle changes to suit client needs, occupancy detection for energy savings, upgrade emergency lighting to current regulations, works co ordinated so as not to impact on clients day to day running of the factory.

Projects: Electrical Condition Report Inspection & Testing

We have a fully qualified electrical inspection & testing team carrying out all aspects of test, inspection & certification of electrical installations, comprehensive inspection & testing is carried out & NICEIC Electrical Condition Reports are produced & presented in a electronic format to clients. We have experience of working on large commercial & industrial sites working with our clients to minimise any disruption & carry out in depth inspection but not impact on the day to day usage required for each specific site. We offer Emergency Lighting & Fire alarm inspection & test & we deliver this in the same manner as or previously described electrical condition reports.

Project: St Catherine’s RC Primary School – Partial Refurbishment

Adaptability – Asbestos was found on site during the project and we had to manage the asbestos contractor who had to install timber battens etc to accommodate fixings for our equipment. The programme was adjusted to suit the works and on completion we appointed a painting contractor to carry out the decorations. The project was fully tested and commissioned on completion of works.

Project: Hedworthfield Primary & Nursery School - Rewire

Brief Description of Works: Refurbishment of the main distribution equipment sub-mains and upgrade all the lighting and power installation and external lighting using LED type fittings throughout. Commission new fire alarm and emergency lighting installation, responsible for the management of the suspended ceiling contractor and his works.

Adaptability – The project had the issue of the discovering of asbestos, we were able to re-programme the works at short notice to accommodate the removal of asbestos by the Clients appointed asbestos contractor and work under their control measures, we escalated work in other areas of the project until able to continue in the areas affected and kept the programme of works on track to meet the completion date. Following the asbestos works the labour was increased for approximately 2 weeks to ensure the completion date was met
